Who We Are

After years of waiting too long to replace our mattress, full of lumps and dips, because we couldn’t afford a new mattress or we had to drive too far to get the right one for us, we decided to do something about it. We opened Mountain Mattress with the goal of helping everyone sleep better, live with less pain and tackle their days as the best version of themselves.

Nothing is worse than waking up with aches and pains from the wrong mattress or a mattress that is years past it’s expiration date. We spend one third of our lives in bed so why shouldn’t your mattress be a priority for your overall health?

We have structured our business for a custom shopping experience so you go home with the exact right mattress and/or pillow for your body size, sleeping style and needs. We walk you through the whole process, listening to your specific pain points and sleep issues, to direct you to the best product to instantly upgrade your sleep experience.

We carry name brand mattresses: Helix Sleep, Brooklyn Bedding, Serta and Beautyrest, in a variety of comfort preferences and styles. From memory foam hybrid, firm, plush and pillow tops. We also have a variety of price points so that everyone can find the solution to their specific needs and budget. Additionally we carry Bedgear customizable performance pillows, performance mattress protectors and Big Barker orthopedic dog beds. Everyone in your house deserves a great night of sleep. 90% of our products are made right here in the USA!

We have started bringing on linens with thought and intention. Currently we carry USA made Thomaston Linens, organic bed linens by Coyuchi , sustainable bamboo linens by Cozy Earth and 100% Mulberry Silk products by Blissy. We also believe that a great night of sleep can be enhanced by scent, which is why we carry Earth and human friendly Beekman 1802 products.
